Iselin-based World Insurance Associates LLC, a Top 50 insurance brokerage, said it acquired SJD Insurance Services Inc. of Great Falls, Virginia, on Dec. 1.
Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
SJD provides a full range of insurance/consulting services to individuals and businesses. It has over 55 years of combined experience.

Giordano, Halleran & Ciesla provided legal counsel to World, and Connor Group advised it on the transaction. Cameron/McEvoy PLLC provided legal counsel to SJD. No other advisers, diligence firms or legal counsel were disclosed.
