Centri picks new lead for its Environmental, Social & Governance Advisory practice

Centri Business Consulting has appointed Managing Director Mihir Jhaveri to lead its new Environmental, Social, & Governance Advisory practice.
The accounting firm with knowledge in financial reporting, valuation services, technical accounting and more said Mihir has been a leader within the firm’s Risk Advisory practice since 2018, providing a wide range of experience in managing internal audits and advisory projects across multiple industries, including life sciences,  technology, telecom, fashion, manufacturing and health care.
Prior to Centri, Mihir spent time at both PwC and other Fortune 500 companies, gaining significant experience in managing internal audits, Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, information technology audits and effectively managing risks and driving positive outcomes.
“ESG is and will continue to dramatically reshape many aspects of how businesses operate and plan for the future,” Michael Aiello, CEO and managing partner of Centri, stated. “We are confident that Mihir’s significant experience, paired with our team’s deep expertise across industries and service lines, will enable us to provide the insights and counsel our clients need to navigate the evolving ESG landscape in 2023 and beyond.”
Centri’s ESG practice has been created to provide clients, no matter their size, industry or needs, with the customized advice and tools they need to integrate ESG into their strategy. Focused on meeting the needs of clients throughout the complete ESG lifecycle, the practice will provide a diverse slate of services, including ESG strategy and program development, readiness assessments, program implementation and assurance readiness.
Jhaveri added: “Climate change and human capital risks continue to dominate companies’ enterprise risk and regulatory agenda globally. Stakeholder demands for transparency have substantially increased to ensure companies are connecting their purpose and profit to planet conservation and societal well-being. Since every business has differing needs, circumstances and goals, it is critical to take a strategic and thoughtful approach in helping our clients develop, implement and manage ESG programs effectively. We are excited to bring this much-needed service to our clients and look forward to being a partner for each of them in their ESG journeys.”
