4 Greenbaum women attorneys assume leadership roles at New Jersey State Bar Association

Greenbaum, Rowe, Smith & Davis LLP announced that four of the firm’s women attorneys were sworn into new leadership positions at the New Jersey State Bar Association’s 2023 Annual Meeting and Convention in Atlantic City.

Stephanie Reckord was installed as co-chair of the NJSBA Construction Law Section. A partner in the firm’s Litigation and Family Law departments, Reckord co-chairs the Construction Disputes Practice Group. She focuses on complex commercial litigation in federal and state courts, representing clients in the areas of banking, employment, family law, trusts & estates, class action defense, consumer fraud, construction and commercial real estate.

Kersten Kortbawi was installed as co-secretary of the NJSBA Construction Law Section. A partner in the Litigation Department, Kortbawi is an experienced commercial litigator who represents plaintiffs and defendants in all phases of civil litigation at both the state and federal level. Her work encompasses complex construction disputes, consumer fraud claims, private equity fraud, personal injury actions, product liability matters and insurance defense disputes.

Jemi Goulian Lucey was installed as co-chair of the NJSBA Higher Education Special Committee. A partner in the Employment Law, Litigation and Healthcare departments, Lucey co-chairs the Higher Education Practice Group. She is a trial attorney who focuses on representing private and public entities in employment, higher education and complex litigation matters in state and federal court, including discrimination and retaliation actions and Title IX claims.

Monica Schroeck was installed as chair of the NJSBA Environmental Law Section. Counsel in the Environmental Department, Schroeck advises public and private entities on issues associated with real estate and corporate transactions and in environmental litigation. Her experience encompasses a broad range of environmental and land use issues, including matters associated with natural gas generation and power metering based on her engineering background.
