CarePoint Health launches ‘CarePoint CAREs’ community outreach and volunteer program

CarePoint Health in Jersey City officially launched its new community outreach and volunteer program, “CarePoint CAREs,” an initiative that reflects CarePoint’s unwavering commitment to making a positive impact on the communities it serves and working to create a culture of compassion, collaboration and community engagement.

Designed to strengthen CarePoint’s connection with the Hudson County community, CarePoint CAREs is a program that hopes to empower employees to give back and make a difference in the lives of those in need through volunteer work.

“We are thrilled to introduce the CarePoint CAREs program as an integral part of our mission to provide quality health care services while actively listening to the needs of and contributing to the welfare of our community,” said the CEO and president of CarePoint Health, Dr. Achintya Moulick. “We believe that, by working together and giving back to those who need it most, we can create a stronger, healthier and more vibrant community for everyone. This initiative aligns perfectly with our vision of promoting inclusivity, social responsibility and equitable access to high quality care.”

CarePoint CAREs will aim to address various social, health and wellness challenges faced by community members by partnering with local nonprofits and civic organizations and hosting its own giving projects.

CarePoint CAREs, launched in conjunction with the recent establishment of the Just Health Foundation, exemplifies CarePoint Health Systems’ unwavering dedication to the Hudson County community and its residents.

As a newly formed 501(c)(3) nonprofit, the Just Health Foundation serves as the philanthropic extension of CarePoint Health, reinforcing the organization’s steadfast commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered health care and fostering innovation within the communities it serves. These dual initiatives collectively embody CarePoint Health’s mission to enrich the lives of the people of Hudson County, ensuring their access to high-quality health care while actively engaging with and supporting the diverse and vibrant community that defines the heart and soul of the region.
