Garden Communities delivers signature apartment building at Legacy Place in East Brunswick

The first residents have taken occupancy at Garden CommunitiesLegacy Place, the signature multifamily development in East Brunswick.

“One Legacy Place is the centerpiece of our community,” Miranda Gjini, property and leasing manager, said. “It is the first of two architecturally striking midrise apartment buildings with enviable resident features like a dedicated fitness center, children’s playroom, outdoor courtyards and other gathering spaces, as well as covered reserved parking. Additionally, its ground-floor retail will serve all Legacy Place residents and the surrounding neighborhood. This building — and the entire property — is setting a new bar for upscale apartment living in East Brunswick.”

Located on Tices Lane, the highly visible, five-story midrise has passed the halfway point in its development. Upon completion, the beautifully designed, 25-acre community will include 520 sophisticated alcove studio, one-, two- and three-bedroom residences. Spacious floor plans all boast gourmet kitchens with stainless-steel appliances, luxurious bathrooms, oversized walk-in closets, an in-suite washer/dryer, resident-controlled heat/central air and remote keyless entry.

Legacy Place offers three additional, distinctive housing styles. Four-story, suburban-inspired apartment buildings with elevators are designed with individual “tuck-under” garages and storage rooms. Traditional 2.5-story townhomes feature private garages, while stacked townhome buildings provide bilevel living, with bedrooms on an upper floor and attached, single-car garages.

A 5,000-square-foot clubhouse at Legacy Place includes a state-of-the-art fitness center, elegant entertainment lounge with fireplace, coffee bar and private workstations. A heated resort-style swimming pool and sundeck and barbecue grills are among the community’s best-in-class outdoor amenities. The grounds are designed to be spacious and inviting places for recreation and relaxation, offering walking paths, plenty of open space, an enclosed dog run and a central green where residents can meet and gather, along with several pocket parks for their enjoyment. Electric vehicle charging stations promote ecofriendly transportation.

“The response to Legacy Place has been absolutely unprecedented,” Garden Communities’ Laura Kosik, public relations and marketing executive, said. “Even before leasing began, our carefully crafted introductory marketing drew the interest of thousands of prospective residents. That velocity has continued through the first months of leasing at this highly amenitized community, and its widespread appeal reflects in the individuals and families who now call Legacy Place ‘home.’ We are attracting residents from across the country, both young and mature, as well as many from the immediate area who are already familiar with all that the region offers. Legacy Place offers something for everyone.”

Legacy Place provides a sought-after address in a township with top-rated public schools, exceptional municipal services and shopping at area malls and retail along Route 18. Rutgers University, regional corporate campuses and employment centers, major highways, and respected medical institutions are just minutes away.

Monthly rents at Legacy Place start at $2,540.
