6 from N.J. land on Fair360’s 2024 Top 50 companies for DE&I

Six companies ranked as the New Jersey-based firms on the recently released Fair360 (formerly DiversityInc.) Top 50 companies for diversity, equity & inclusion, a list that recognizes leading U.S. companies for workplace fairness in talent strategies.

The six firms were:

No. 19: ADP;
No. 20: TD Bank;
No. 22: BASF;
No. 27: Sanofi;
No. 39: Zoetis; and
No. 44: Wyndham

This year, 160 employers, collectively representing 7.3 million U.S. employees, submitted comprehensive data and metrics on leadership accountability, human capital diversity, talent programs, workplace practices, supplier diversity and philanthropy.

“I’m delighted to recognize the companies on the Top 50 list for their ongoing commitment to workplace fairness,” Luke Visconti, founder and chairman of Fair360, said. “The data shows that, over the long term, companies that consistently put their employees first and have strong track records of respecting and embracing diversity, equity & inclusion, are stronger performers and better equipped to adapt to market conditions.”

“Diversity, equity & inclusion are fundamental to attracting and retaining the best team, and, ultimately, to our company’s success,” Michael Heinz, chairman and CEO, BASF Corp., said. “We are committed to building a culture at BASF where everyone feels seen, heard and valued — for their contributions, for who they are as individuals and for the unique perspectives they bring to their work — all of which makes us stronger.”

“Zoetis’ DE&I focus begins with our dedicated board of directors and executive team of diverse experiences, backgrounds and perspectives, promoting an inclusive environment for all colleagues at all levels,” Evelyn Ortiz, chief talent, diversity & inclusion officer at Zoetis, said. “We are extremely proud of our progress advancing inclusion within our company and the animal health industry, and are committed to driving positive change into the future.”
