PEM Law continues to grow, adding partner to lead new Family Law Practice

Firm also adds 5 associates

PEM Law LLP, a West Orange-based firm that launched in March, is continuing to grow, adding a partner to lead its new Family Law Practice, along with five other lawyers, it announced Thursday.

Steve Martino, who joins the firm after more than 37 years in practice, will lead the new practice group with a focus on mediations, as well as matrimonial and family-related matters for clients seeking cutting-edge counseling in undoubtedly difficult circumstances. In addition to his family law practice, Martino has served in roles including township attorney and has experience in practice areas including real estate and commercial business.

“I am so pleased to be joining the fastest-growing law firm in New Jersey and to establish their Family Law Practice,” Martino said in a prepared statement. “The opportunity to be partners with some of the most highly respected lawyers in New Jersey, to serve as a mentor to the young talent PEM Law has attracted and to help the firm continue its growth is an opportunity I could not turn down.”

“We are thrilled to have Steve join our growing team,” Managing Partner Kathleen Barnett Einhorn said in a statement. “The addition of his high-end family law practice will grow our capabilities, and his vast experience in other areas will provide tremendous value to our existing clients. More importantly, Steve shares our forward-looking vision for delivering legal services in a new way to the business community. We are confident that Steve’s expertise will enhance our firm’s ability to provide those high-quality legal services across a wide range of practice areas.”

PEM Law has also added five associate attorneys recently:

  • Jessica Merejo, a commercial and employment litigator
  • Thomas Kraft, a complex litigation and insurance defense specialist
  • Rushabh Soni, who focuses on transactional matters and political law
  • Max Ranzato, who also focuses on transactional matters and political law
  • Julia Pudimott, who has just finished a clerkship for Judge Robert Mega in Union County
