Dr. Gabriela Wojnarska-Alvarez, and her PCN Medical Group have formed an alliance with Hackensack Meridian’s Pascack Valley Medical Group to enhance continuity of patient care and to provide patients with multispecialty care under one umbrella.
Alvarez is board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and specializes in Nephrology.
Alvarez opened the PCN Medical Group Practice in 2014. She and her team focus on the diagnosis and treatment of various conditions, kidney stones, hematuria, vertigo, diabetes, and primary care. Her care philosophy emphasizes preventive medicine and promoting healthy lifestyles, crafting personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s unique needs and concerns.
Alvarez earned her medical degree at Karol Marcinkowski University of Medical Sciences in Poznan, Poland. She later completed her internal medicine residency and a nephrology fellowship at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ) in Newark, NJ, further honing her expertise in managing complex medical conditions.
Fluent in Polish and basic Spanish, Alvarez is dedicated to fostering meaningful connections with patients from diverse backgrounds. She believes this allows her to create an inclusive and supportive environment where patients feel comfortable and understood.
