Local entrepreneur elevates doggy daycare and pet boarding across the Garden State

Pet care services firm opens sixth facility in New Jersey

Monmouth County has a new doggy daycare facility to bring man’s best friend to with the opening of Hounds Town USA’s latest location in Howell.

Owned and operated by local entrepreneur John Paul Sciascia, the new pet boarding concept opened its doors on Feb. 8 and offers pets and their parents a unique dog boarding and daycare experience.

Conveniently located at 2400 Route 9 South, the new facility adds to the already impressive footprint of Hounds Town locations in the state. With six locations now open across New Jersey, including ones in South Jersey Shore, Old Bridge, Metuchen, Bergen and Fairfield, the demand for a unique pet care experience is at an all-time high, and Hounds Town is eager to meet it.

Services offered by Hounds Town include:

  • interactive dog daycare
  • pet boarding
  • stress-free spa services
  • well-trained staff
  • all day play
  • interaction with other dogs
  • safe and fun socialization

“The Monmouth County region is growing rapidly, and there’s a deep need for extended pet care services,” Sciascia said. “Residents across the Freehold and Howell communities care deeply for their companions and I’m thrilled for my location to be a trusted source of pet care for them. The brand is unparalleled for its approach to dog boarding, and I’m thrilled to welcome guests and their furry companions into our doors.”

Sciascia has an extensive background in small business management and customer service, he’ll be managing the day-to-day operations alongside a team of other committed employees and is eager to connect with nearby shelters and pet-friendly community organizations in the area.

“John Paul is the perfect person to continue growing our brand in New Jersey, and we’re thrilled to welcome him into the Hounds Town system,’ Hounds Town CEO Rob Flanagan, said. “The demand for our concept and what it offers to pets and their parents is at an all-time high. Freehold poses a clear need for our unique approach to pet care, and we’re confident that John Paul’s location will cater to the needs of dogs, across all sizes and breeds, throughout the area.”
