Libiao Robotics leases 8K-SF in Hillsborough for its U.S. show center

Avison Young has arranged a new 8,000-square-feet lease on behalf of Libiao Robotics in Hillsborough.

The leader in robotic automation said the industrial property at 330 Roycefield Road, Building 1, Suites 2 and 3 will serve as the company’s first U.S. show center.

Libiao Robotics was represented by Avison Young’s Ed English, Ron Ganter, and Jake Claricurzio. The landlord, Bane Realty LLC, was represented internally.

“Occupiers are consistently optimizing their square footage in a competitive market environment. Given Libiao Robotic’s strategic business objectives and our collaborative relationship, we were able to refine the search process and achieve their customized real estate needs and business goals,” English said.

Libiao Robotics’ strategic expansion will serve as a key milestone in the company’s global growth, providing a dedicated space to showcase its latest innovations in warehouse automation.

“The specific requirements for Libiao Robotics’ new show center meant that we had very narrow search parameters, but a wide variety of space options to show them,” Claricurzio added.

Located at 330 Roycefield Road, the new showroom, upon completion of construction, will be designed to attract industry leaders, foster technological advancements in automation, and contribute to the local economic growth by creating new job opportunities.

The official opening is planned for April 2025.

“After deploying over 60,000 robots across 20 countries over the past eight years, this show center marks a critical step for Libiao Robotics in demonstrating our cutting-edge AirRob Bin-to-Person ASRS system to integration partners and end customers,” Dan Jiang, general manager of North America at Libiao Robotics, said. “Avison Young’s IOS team helped up to find a facility that will offer an immersive experience, featuring live automation simulations, software interface demonstrations, and comprehensive training program.”
