The Hampshire Companies welcomes Carolyn Lange as chief financial officer

The Hampshire Companies, a full-service, private real estate investment and development firm based in Morristown, names Carolyn Lange chief financial officer.

Lange brings over 30 years of financial and asset management experience to her role as chief financial officer. In her new role, Lange is responsible for The Hampshire Companies’ overall financial management including planning, strategy, accounting, reporting and risk assessment.

Most recently, Lange served as CFO and Treasurer for the Community Foundation of New Jersey (CFNJ), a 501(c)(3) organization committed to creating and scaling custom investment and grantmaking solutions for purpose-driven individuals, families, and businesses. Prior to her time at CFNJ, Lange was CFO of ByteGrid, a data center and IT infrastructure company specializing in providing secure, compliant hosting solutions for enterprises, government agencies and healthcare organizations. She has also held leadership roles at several prestigious companies including Goldman Sachs, Greystone Realty, The Mills Corporation, Trammell Crow Residential, and more.

Lange graduated from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute with a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering and holds a master’s degree in finance and entrepreneurial management from The Wharton School. Active in the community, she is a Founding Board Member of the Friends of Arlington’s David M. Brown Planetarium in Arlington, Virginia and serves as a guest lecturer at Rutgers Business School.
