Kearny Bank Thursday said Latita Persaud is the new assistant vice president/retail relationship manager of the Fairfield-based bank’s North Bergen branch.
Persaud joined Kearny Bank in 2022 as a retail client experience manager. In her new role, she is overseeing all aspects of the branch’s sales and operations. Persaud holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from New Jersey City University.
Kearny Bank said Persaud interacts regularly with its corporate office in Fairfield in matters pertaining to government banking and has ongoing relationships with various housing authorities throughout the Hudson County area.
“Our branch is located in a relatively urban area, with many of our clients living in large, residential buildings,” Persaud said. The branch is located at 8901 John F. Kennedy Blvd. “The owners of many of these condominiums and apartment structures are commercial clients of ours. So for me, it makes perfect sense to have expertise in government banking and to be a familiar face to our local municipal housing authorities.”
