Professional Women in Construction – New Jersey Chapter honored four female executives as 2025 Women of Achievement Award winners at a luncheon at Liberty House in Jersey City on May 22.
More than 300 industry professionals attended the event to celebrate this year’s honorees. This award recognizes women in the architecture, engineering, and construction sectors who have demonstrated professional success, leadership, and commitment to fostering diversity in the industry.
Those honored were: Jill Schiff, chief operating officer, Associated Construction Contractors of New Jersey (ACCNJ); Patrice Clark, owner and senior vice president, Vericon Construction, ACCNJ member; Jennifer D’Emilio, interim director of eEngineering at Summit West, Bristol Myers Squibb; and Valerie Moran, executive vice president, JDC Energy Services.
PWC-NJ has hosted its Women of Achievement Awards event since 2012. In 2019, the organization launched their Professional Women in Construction Scholarship Fund to support female students interested in pursuing a degree in architecture, engineering, STEM, and construction-related fields. Since its inception, the fund has awarded $90,000 in academic scholarships to 25 promising women entering AEC fields.
At the luncheon, sponsored by Associated Construction Contractors of New Jersey, $5,000 scholarships were awarded to five recipients, totaling $25,000 in scholarship support this year.
