Datacor Inc., a provider of process manufacturing, chemical distribution, and engineering software, said Aug. 19 it bought Informetric Systems, a New Providence-based provider of manufacturing intelligence and digital transformation software for an undisclosed amount.
Datacor said the acquisition enhances its plant-level data capture, reporting, and compliance capabilities, as it tries to help customers achieve greater operational visibility and faster decision-making across production environments.
“Informetric brings deep domain expertise in regulated manufacturing environments and a powerful suite of tools that address critical production and compliance challenges,” said Tom Jackson, president of Datacor. “We are excited to welcome Informetric into the Datacor family of solutions. Their offerings complement our existing platforms and further our mission to empower customers with actionable insights, streamlined operations, and smarter business growth.”

“This partnership marks an exciting new chapter for Informetric,” said Bob Engel, founder and CEO of Informetric. “Datacor shares our passion for delivering innovative, customer-centric software. With their support and resources, we’re well-positioned to expand our impact and continue helping customers drive quality, compliance, and efficiency across their operations.”Â
