Total Wine & More, the nation’s largest independent retailer of wine, spirits and beer, has opened at North Village Shopping Center on Route 1 in North Brunswick.
The 32,000-square-foot store is Total Wine’s seventh in New Jersey and brings the center to 100% occupancy. Levin Management Corporation (LMC) is the leasing and managing agent for the 124,000-square-foot shopping center.
Total Wine & More, with about 8,000 wines from many regions of the world, is known for its large product selection, competitive pricing, and in-store experiences such as tastings, classes, and events. There are also thousands of spirits and hundreds of domestic, imported, and craft beers. The store also includes exclusive brands and highlights local New Jersey producers.
Ed Vasconcellos, LMC leasing representative, represented the landlord in the lease transaction. Brian Schuster of Ripco represented Total Wine & More.
“This addition reflects LMC’s strategy of securing best-in-class national retailers for the centers we manage,” said Vasconcellos. “Total Wine’s strong brand identity, broad consumer appeal, and focus on delivering an exceptional shopping experience make it a perfect fit for this location.”
North Village Shopping Center is anchored by Trader Joe’s. Additional national and regional tenants include Michaels, Staples, Ulta Beauty, Panera Bread, and Smashburger. According to Placer.ai, the center draws about 2.6 million visits annually.
Total Wine & More has about 286 stores in 30 states and plans to reach 300 by year-end.
