Metz Industrial Group leases 27K SF of industrial building in South Plainfield

Metz Industrial Group (MIG) of Bussel Realty Corp. (BRC), a leading industrial/retail real estate services firm in New Jersey, announced it has leased 27,484 square feet on behalf of Great Moving & Storage at 20 Harmich Road, Building 2 in South Plainfield, a 57,250-square-foot industrial building.

Jordan Metz, principal, Benito Abbate, senior associate, and James Friel, sales associate, of the Metz Industrial Group of BRC represented Great Moving & Storage in the transaction. Lee & Associates represented the landlord, Marcus Partners.

“Great Movers has been a long-term MIG client, and we’re thrilled to place them into a space that matches the scale of their growth,” said Metz. “With Class B industrial vacancy hovering at 4%, quality options are limited, and 20 Harmich Road was the perfect fit.

“It’s incredibly rewarding to watch clients we’ve worked with for one or two decades continue to grow and expand their businesses. Supporting that growth is exactly why MIG exists, and why so many companies rely on us to navigate a tightening industrial market.”

Situated on 4.9 acres, 20 Harmich Road, Building 2, is a 57,250-square-foot industrial property located near the New Jersey Turnpike, I-287, Routes 1-9 and 440, Garden State Parkway and the Outerbridge Crossing to Staten Island, New York.

The property features 27-foot-6-inch-high ceilings, two tailboard loading docks, five drive-in doors, wet sprinklers, 400 amps of electric power, and ample parking spaces.
