Valley Medical Group and Mount Sinai Kravis Children’s Hospital announce second children’s health practice in Wayne

Valley Medical Group, in partnership with Mount Sinai Kravis Children’s Hospital, announced the opening of a second Valley-Mount Sinai Children’s Health practice in Wayne. The practice, located at 1578 Route 23 North, will offer pediatric primary and specialty care.

Pediatric primary care will be offered at the new location by Shivani Shah, M.D., director of general outpatient pediatrics for Valley Medical Group. Valley’s team of pediatric specialists supports the total health and well-being of newborns, children and adolescents with diagnostic, preventive and treatment services.

Services include routine wellness visits, sick visits, laboratory services and vaccinations.

In addition to the Wayne practice, pediatric primary care is offered at 135 North Kinderkamack Road in Montvale, where patients can see Cecilia Godoy, M.D., pediatrician, and Suzanne Bussetti, RN.

Dr. Shah is board-certified in pediatrics. She specializes in pediatric primary care with a focus on preventive medicine, child development and managing common childhood diseases. She is passionate about providing comprehensive care from infancy through adolescence, with specific interests in childhood asthma and obesity.

Additionally, Shah serves as the associate director of quality in the Division of Ambulatory Pediatrics at Mount Sinai Hospital.

“We are proud to expand our pediatric primary and specialty care to the regional community,” said J. Antonio Quiros, M.D., Ph.D., chair of Children’s Services for Valley Medical Group.

“This expansion allows us to meet more families where they live. Access to high-quality, compassionate pediatric care close to home is essential for supporting children’s health and well-being as they grow.”

“This new location marks an important milestone for families in Northern New Jersey,” said Elizabeth Haines, DO, MSc, FACEP, chief operating officer of Mount Sinai Kravis Children’s Hospital and senior vice president of Pediatric Services for the Mount Sinai Health System.

“Together with Valley Medical Group, we are creating new opportunities for children to access advanced pediatric care and specialty services close to home.”

In addition to pediatric primary care, pediatric specialty services, such as pediatric endocrinology, will soon be available at this location.

In addition to the Wayne practice, pediatric endocrinology care will continue to be offered at 140 East Ridgewood Avenue in Paramus, with additional appointments opening in Montvale soon.
