Larken brings Lawrenceville shopping center to full occupancy by signing brewery, taekwondo studio

With the signing of two new retail leases, Larken Associates has brought the Manors Corner Shopping Center to full occupancy, according to a Monday announcement from the broker.

Hongryong Park Ahn’s Taekwondo signed for 1,910 square feet and the Druery inked a lease for 1,044 square feet within the property located at 160 Lawrenceville-Pennington Road. Weichert Commercial Brokerage represented both tenants in their transactions with Larken Associates, which was represented by Rob Marek, executive vice president of Raider Realty, its in-house brokerage division.

Located at the intersection of Federal City Road and Lawrenceville-Pennington Road, Manors Corner Shopping Center offers 26,564 square feet of retail and restaurant space minutes from downtown Princeton. The shopping center is readily accessible from Routes 1 and 206 and Interstate 295 and affords tenants superior connectivity to the surrounding Mercer County area.

With the intention of finding well-maintained, high-quality retail space to expand its growing reach in the state, Ahn’s Taekwondo identified Manors Corner Shopping Center as the perfect fit. Its location within a densely populated residential area will make it a superb space to house a taekwondo studio.

The Druery, a new microbrewery with roots in Philadelphia, identified the property as an ideal site to open its new, three-barrel facility. Expected to open in October 2022, the Druery intends to benefit from the location’s surrounding densely populated neighborhood and create a welcoming local brew spot for the community to enjoy new styles and varieties of beer.

“Businesses of all kinds are always on the hunt for properties that have the favorable demographic profile of Lawrenceville,” Marek said. “Each of the retail properties making up our carefully curated portfolio provide tenants like Ahn’s Taekwondo and the Druery with unparalleled access to these in-demand communities, and we are thrilled to welcome them to Lawrenceville.”
