Mt. Laurel Apple Montessori celebrates opening with ribbon cutting

To celebrate Apple Montessori Schools opening a newly renovated school in Mt. Laurel, New Jersey, it recently held a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony/Open House. The new school is located at 1401 South Church Street in Mt. Laurel and is Apple Montessori’s first South Jersey location. This location offers programs for children ages 6 weeks to 6 years.

“We are proud of this milestone and our team members who worked so hard to help us expand our exceptional education to the families of Mt. Laurel,” Kellie Capatasto, regional director, Apple Montessori stated. “We are so excited to celebrate and meet more of the community.”

Councilwoman Karen Cohen, Assemblywoman Carol Murphy and Burlington County Regional Chamber of Commerce VP Adrianna Gattuso along with several local residents and perspective students turned out to welcome the new school to the community.

This family-friendly event offered the community their first chance to tour the school, learn more about Apple Montessori’s education philosophy and take part in activities for infant to kindergarten aged children and learn more about Apple Montessori’s mission to nurture and engage young minds at their own pace.

The newly updated building hosts spacious classrooms, an outdoor classroom, age-appropriate outdoor play areas, a swimming pool, and an outdoor sports court. This event was also to commemorate the 50 years that Apple has provided early childhood education to families across the Garden State.

“We are thrilled to take this moment and look back at 50 years of inspiring lifelong happiness and success, but also looking forward to joining new communities,” Capatasto said.
