Dana D’Agostino-Ryser, sales leader of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Fox & Roach, Realtors’ Holmdel Office, welcomes Taylor Hagee and Anthony Vella as sales associates.

CBRE

CBRE announced two new strategic hires to bolster its industry-leading Tri-State Institutional Properties Group. Fahri Ozturk and Richard Gatto have joined CBRE as senior vice presidents and partners of a team of seasoned real estate professionals headed by CBRE Vice Chairman Jeffrey Dunne. The team specializes in the sale and recapitalization of office, apartments, retail, industrial and development sites in the New York Tri-State region.

“Fahri and Rich are two stars on the rise in our industry, and we are extremely pleased to have them join our team,” said Dunne. “Even during the many challenges the industry faced during the pandemic, Fahri and Rich were prolific in the type of real estate deals they were able to complete in the service of their clients.”

Cheri Ciano, Wilentz, Goldman & Spitzer

Cheri Ciano has joined Wilentz, Goldman & Spitzer as counsel in the firm’s Real Estate and Redevelopment practice groups.

Ciano joins Wilentz with more than 20 years of experience in the commercial real estate market, serving as in-house counsel to leading developers and property management companies, Edgewood Properties, PRC Group/PRC Management Co. Inc. and Applied Property Management Co./Ironstate Development Co.

At Wilentz, she represents clients in all aspects of real estate development, including negotiating and structuring complex transactions, leases, mergers & acquisitions, dispositions, construction, private and commercial lending, and other financings.

Lindabury, McCormick, Estabrook & Cooper P.C.

The law firm of Lindabury, McCormick, Estabrook & Cooper, P.C., announced that Blake Miller and Emerald Sheay have joined as new attorneys.

Miller is a commercial litigation attorney who will concentrate his practice in insurance coverage and defense matters at Lindabury. His previous experience includes defending both the insured and insurers in a variety of actions involving construction defects, the New Jersey Law Against Discrimination, motor vehicle accidents, property damage, allegations of abuse and workplace accidents. A graduate of Rutgers Law School, Miller also brings 10 years of experience as a litigation paralegal to Lindabury.

Sheay concentrates her practice in defense matters, focused on the field of labor and employment. She was formerly a law clerk to the Hon. Lisa F. Chrystal, where she drafted tentative dispositions and mediated special civil part and family matters. Sheay is a graduate of Seton Hall’s School of Law and currently sits as a member of the advisory board for the Transformative Leadership in Disruptive Times program. She also serves as an attorney mentor in the NJ LEEP program.

R. Christian Pfefferle, Provident Bank

Provident Bank, a leading New Jersey-based financial institution, has announced that R. Christian Pfefferle has been promoted to vice president, team leader of the bank’s Flemington commercial lending team.

Pfefferle is based in the bank’s Flemington office and is responsible for managing a team of relationship managers and lending specialists who work with small to midsized companies in central New Jersey to grow the bank’s commercial loan portfolio by offering a variety of deposit and lending solutions. In addition, he will be actively involved with coaching and supporting his team to help structure new and existing commercial loans, meeting with customers, reviewing term sheets and supporting loan approvals. Pfefferle will continue to manage a loan portfolio and service the lending needs of clients in Hunterdon and Somerset counties.

He possesses exceptional people skills, extensive knowledge of the market, expertise in lending and a keen understanding of the credit needs of businesses. Samaritan

Samaritan, a not-for-profit health care provider offering hospice, grief support, palliative care and primary care at home, recently announced the promotion of two of its longtime employees to management positions:

  • Theresa Goldfine of Lumberton has been named director of palliative care & clinical systems;
  • Amy Maricondi of Mount Laurel has been named director of business development.

Easterseals New Jersey

Easterseals New Jersey, the largest disability services not for-profit in the state, announced the addition of five individuals to its board of directors. They are: Jeaneen Andrews-Feldman, Vandana Khanna, Valerie Nuhfer, Sam Riviello and Roger Soares.

Leaders in their respective fields, the new board members bring diverse talent to their new roles. Their collective experience, perspective, and passions will advance Easterseals NJ’s mission, via the work of its board.

Levin Management Corp.

Commercial real estate services firm Levin Management Corp. has announced three staff promotions amid continued business momentum. In the leasing department, E.J. Moawad has been named senior leasing representative, while Stacy Garrity and Antoinette Puccia have been elevated to senior paralegal; Garrity has also assumed the role of corporate secretary for the North Plainfield-based company.

Moawad, of Palisades Park, joined LMC in 2016 and is responsible for approximately 1.7 million square feet of gross leasable area at 13 properties within LMC’s management and leasing portfolio. Key members of the LMC corporate team, Garrity, a resident of Colonia, and Puccia, of Green Brook, both joined LMC in 2010 and are notary publics in New Jersey.

Mike Richmond, DAK Group

Adam Ross, Grassi

Grassi, a leading provider of advisory, tax and accounting services, has announced the addition of Adam Ross, CPA, partner, to the firm’s Financial Services Practice. To this role, Ross brings executive-level experience in accounting, auditing and management consulting for a diverse range of financial services entities.

In addition to providing audit services for the firm’s hedge fund and private equity clients, Ross will perform audits of broker dealers as well as other private management companies. Prior to joining Grassi, Ross was a director at a Big 4 accounting firm, where he focused on the asset wealth management sector and designed, supervised and executed financial statement audits and also institutionalized several technology initiatives to streamline automation and increase efficiency.
