QuickChek is giving away free coffee every Friday in March, April

Inflation help for consumers

It’s only Monday, but let’s talk about Fridays. Every Friday in March and April, QuickChek will be giving away free coffee to its most loyal customers to help fight inflation and perk up the end of the work week.

QuickChek Rewards members can get a free coffee — any size, hot or iced — during its “Free Coffee Fridays” by scanning the QuickChek Rewards mobile app or entering their phone number at checkout. Redemption is valid with a minimum purchase of $0.50. Limit is one coffee per person per visit.

“We want to give you another reason to look forward to Friday,” QuickChek Divisional Vice President Don Leech said. “Along with the everyday value we have to offer, every little bit helps when it comes to fighting inflation. We’re proud to serve the best coffee in the market and to reward our most loyal customers.”

Coffee by the numbers

Coffee is the world’s most popular beverage, excluding water. According to the National Coffee Association, 62% of Americans drink coffee every day. The average coffee drinker in America drinks just over 3 cups per day. Here are some more statistics from QuickChek:

  • 1 out of every 3 QuickChek customers buys a cup of coffee — nearly 40% of those cups are medium size (16 ounces); a very close second is the 20-ounce size;
  • 35% of QuickChek coffee drinkers prefer their coffee black (French Vanilla creamer is the top flavor);
  • More than 20 million cups of QuickChek coffee are sold each year.

Come in and grab your favorite fresh brewed variety or try one of the QuickChek seasonal blends, including Vanilla Crème Brûlée (available in March) and S’mores (April).

“Free Coffee Fridays” runs through April 28.

Consumers can join the QuickChek Rewards program for free by downloading the app at the Apple store or on Google Play for android users, or online here.

The Whitehouse Station-based chain first offered “Free Coffee Fridays” last March as part of its 55th anniversary celebration. QuickChek’s coffee has been named best in America in consumer surveys and is consistently ranked among the top convenience chains and overall quick service restaurant retailers nationally.

New spring foodservice menu

QuickChek’s exciting and innovative spring foodservice menu will also feature the “Best Sandwich in Town” Pastrami Reuben (pastrami, sauerkraut, Swiss cheese, and Russian dressing on a fresh-baked Portuguese roll) and Sloppy Deli Reuben (pastrami, Cole slaw, Swiss cheese, and deli mustard).

New menu offerings include Blueberry Pomegranate Real Fruit Smoothie (with immunity, energy and protein boosts available); Blueberry Pomegranate Lemonade served iced or frozen; and Nashville Hot Chicken Flautas.

Much more than a typical convenience store, QuickChek has become the market leader in the metropolitan area through its focus on freshly prepared foodservice and an innovative “Fresh to Go” store design that enhances the shopping experience for busy people on-the-go.

More than half of each new store is dedicated to personalized fresh food and beverages, including its famed guaranteed fresh brewed coffee.

A wholly owned subsidiary of Murphy USA, QuickChek operates 160 stores, including 97 with fuel, throughout New Jersey, New York’s Hudson Valley and Long Island.
