Amerigroup’s Medicaid product members have been able to access Hackensack Meridian Health’s 18 hospitals, home care services, most Hackensack Meridian physician practices and more than 500 patient care locations throughout New Jersey, thanks to HMH’s expanded agreement with Amerigroup, which became effective April 1.
“Hackensack Meridian Health is committed to increasing patient access to high-quality, integrated care,” Patrick Young, president of population health, Hackensack Meridian Health, said. “We know how important it is for individuals to receive preventive, routine care to maintain their well-being. This partnership will help ensure Amerigroup’s members have access to that care.”
This expanded agreement now includes all Hackensack Meridian hospitals, including its four hospitals in the southern half of New Jersey, including: Jersey Shore University Medical Center and K. Hovnanian Children’s Hospital in Neptune, Ocean University Medical Center in Brick, Southern Ocean University Medical Center in Manahawkin and Riverview Medical Center in Red Bank.
