Edison staffing solutions firm chooses new CEO

Edison-based ApTask has named a new CEO it says will grow new opportunities for the staffing and workforce solutions company.

Eddie Bright Jr. is expected to use his extensive relationships within the information technology community globally to grow the ApTask suite of human capital solutions.

“We have selected a very strong leader at a time when ApTask is in a very strong position, with deep, personal and rewarding relationships around the globe,” founder Taj Haslani said in a conference call. “Eddie is uniquely qualified to lead. Eddie knows every ApTask segment, technology area and geography, and will move the company forward with the speed required to capitalize on the opportunities in front of us. He is a champion of the ApTask culture and has an incredible ability to inspire, energize and connect with employees, partners, customers and global leaders.”

Bright, along with ApTask global recruiting and managed services teams, will be responsible for the placement and management of resources on projects, management consultancy, staffing augmentation, executive search and more.

In a statement, ApTask lauded Bright’s “collaborative approach (that) allows ApTask to provide a deeper level of service and proactively identify and address future deliverables.”

“I am incredibly honored to be stepping into the CEO role here at ApTask and the 3R Connect family of companies,” Bright said. “Taj Haslani and our managing partners have built a tremendous company in ApTask and their global paradigm and solution offerings are best in class in servicing and leading our clients. My goal is always to add value to our platform and more importantly provide this value to our clients’ partners. With the advent of franchising, the growth in front of ApTask the next few years presents a wonderful execution track.”
