Fresh convenience available now in Scotch Plains as new QuickChek store opens

What a treat! QuickChek, the leader in fresh convenience for more than 55 years, announced it opened its newest store in Scotch Plains on Halloween.

The 5,670-square-foot store with gas pumps is located at 475 Terrill Road with amenities in the new store include an open floor plan with stand-alone food displays and consumer-friendly, wide aisles to enhance customers’ shopping experience when customizing food and beverages; no-fee ATMs; 12 fueling positions; indoor seating for 10 people and outdoor seating for eight; and ample parking with 56 parking spaces plus three spaces for oversized vehicles.

“We want to be a special part of our customers’ day, and we are thrilled to continue to expand the QuickChek brand into Scotch Plains,” QuickChek Divisional Vice President Don Leech said. “We strive to make a difference in people’s everyday lives by providing one-stop shopping for the things you need, all day, every day. We look forward to serving the area with the best-in-class foodservice, quality brand offerings and total customer dedication from our friendly team members that we are known for.”

As part of the grand opening, QuickChek is giving away one free cup of self-serve, hot or iced coffee, per customer, per day, for 7 days to QuickChek Rewards members at the Scotch Plains store beginning Tuesday.

Additionally, QuickChek said customers looking for a winning lineup of new hot and hearty subs will be happy with the selection, which are perfect for gameday tailgating and satisfying everyday cravings.

The Scotch Plains store creates 35 to 45 new local jobs, including eight management positions, and each new QuickChek typically generates $1 million in tax revenue, adding to its positive impact in the township.

Committed to giving back to the communities it serves, QuickChek is donating a portion of its store opening proceeds to local Boys & Girls Clubs to help Fuel Great Futures for local kids throughout the region.
