Lebersfeld, Rosen join Litigation Team at Genova Burns

Daniel Lebersfeld and Brandon Rosen have joined the Litigation Team at Genova Burns, the firm announced this week.

Lebersfeld and Rosen, who are both senior associates, will work out of the firm’s Newark office.

Lebersfeld brings a wealth of experience to Genova Burns, specializing in diverse areas of litigation, including commercial litigation, insurance litigation, real estate litigation and intellectual property matters. He has represented a broad range of clients, from Fortune 500 corporations to small family businesses.

One of Lebersfeld’s notable achievements includes the successful defense of a chief financial officer of a publicly traded company against a breach of guaranty claim, simultaneously prevailing on counterclaims for breach of employment agreement and indemnification on appeal. His expertise also extends to securing dismissals in high-stakes cases, such as Salesmark Ventures, LLC v. Singh, involving personal liability claims against a CEO in the Commercial Division of the New York County Supreme Court.

Lebersfeld earned his J.D. at George Washington Law School.

Rosen, who specializes in commercial litigation, real estate litigation and general liability matters, has represented clients ranging from small business owners to Fortune 500 companies, as well.

Before joining Genova Burns, Rosen honed his litigation skills at London Fischer in New York, representing clients in a wide range of general liability cases, from construction to products liability matters. Rosen has practiced extensively in both New Jersey and New York courts.

Rosen had a judicial externship for the Hon. Devin P. Cohen in New York City Civil Court and a postgraduate internship for the Hon. Douglas E. Alpert in the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey.

Rosen earned his J.D. at New York Law School.
