Sarno da Costa D’Aniello Maceri LLC announces new law firm name and brand

Roseland-based Sarno da Costa D’Aniello Maceri LLC is the newly branded law firm from what was formerly known as Snyder Sarno D’Aniello Maceri & da Costa LLC.

The firm, which provides counsel on family law, medical malpractice and personal injury matters, is led by founder and Managing Partner Angelo Sarno. Sarno is certified by the Supreme Court of New Jersey as a matrimonial law attorney and is nationally recognized for his role in precedent-setting family law cases.

“We greatly miss our partner, mentor and friend, Edward ‘Ed’ S. Snyder, who passed on Feb. 3, 2023. When Ed and I founded the law firm in 2009, our focus was naturally on matrimonial law,” Sarno said. “I am forever grateful to Ed for joining me then and taking a chance on my dream to build an outstanding and collegial law firm. We rapidly added personal injury and medical malpractice to our services for clients, and, as we celebrate our 15th anniversary, have evolved to a highly regarded litigation practice, and a great place to work.”

In rebranding the firm’s name and website, the firm takes a step forward in recognizing its growth from a two-person boutique family law firm to a successful practice of 26 legal professionals.

With 12 state-certified matrimonial and civil trial attorneys, the firm has the ability to handle difficult and complex legal matters, while staying true to a personalized approach that prioritizes clients and their needs.

Sarno added: “We appreciate that clients come to us under stressful circumstances, with family disputes, medical malpractice claims and personal injuries, and we aim to help them put their legal issues behind them so that they can start their next chapters.”

Paul da Costa leads the firm’s Medical Malpractice and Personal Injury teams, which have achieved eight-figure settlements and seven-figure verdicts and settlements on behalf of clients. A passionate litigator and compassionate counselor, da Costa is a certified civil trial attorney by the Supreme Court of New Jersey, as well as a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates and a fellow of the Litigation Counsel of America, which are both invitation-only membership trial attorney associations.

Jerry D’Aniello is the managing partner of the firm’s Somerset County office in Bridgewater and is certified by the Supreme Court of New Jersey as a matrimonial law attorney.

Joseph Maceri is the managing partner of the firm’s Hackensack office and is certified by the Supreme Court of New Jersey as a matrimonial law attorney.
