A look at some of the businesses and organizations making this Jersey summer more hospitable and affordable for active military and their families.

  • Adventure Crossing USA is offering a 10% discount on tickets to active-duty military, veterans and first responders. Show your ID at check-in to receive your discount.   • Six Flags Great Adventure offers ticket discounts to active-duty military, veterans and first responders. To secure the discount, click here.
  • Seaside Heights offers free beach access to active military and retired personnel and spouses, civil union partners and children. Valid Military ID required — redeem at the Kearney Avenue Headquarters. Other discounts are available for the Casino Pier and Breakwater Beach Waterpark, retail stores and restaurants. Check here. 
  • Blue Star Museums offers free admission to more than 2,000 museums across the nation from now through Labor Day for active-duty military, including the National Guard and Reserves. The program is a collaboration of Blue Star Families, the National Endowment of the Arts, the Department of Defense and the participating museums.   • Drifting Sands Oceanfront Hotel at 119 E. 9th St. in Ship Bottom enables active-duty military and veterans to save up to 15%. Military ID is required to qualify. Blackout dates may apply, and reservations are subject to availability at time of booking. Click here.
  • Mountain Creek celebrates military appreciation days from July 29 to August 1 — a special 50% discount day ticket to the Waterpark for military personnel and one guest. More information here.
