Patriot Pickle expands into Texas with opening of new production facility

Wayne-based Patriot Pickle announced it opened a new state-of-the-art production facility in Garland, Texas. This expansion marks a significant milestone in the company’s growth journey and reinforces its commitment to delivering fresh, premium products to its expanding customer base in the foodservice and grocery retail markets.

The new facility, which Patriot built over the course of the last nine months, will create up to an estimated 75 jobs in the Garland community and more than triple the Company’s production capacity. The new facility will also expand Patriot’s geographic reach, enabling the Company to deliver fresh, “farm to package” pickles in five days or less across the United States.

The opening of the new facility follows the acquisition of Patriot Pickle earlier this year by H.I.G. Capital, a leading global alternative investment firm with $66 billion of capital under management. Since the acquisition, H.I.G. has partnered with the Patriot Pickle management team to help accelerate the Company’s successful growth trajectory.

“The opening of a new production facility in Garland is a major step forward for Patriot Pickle,” Bill McEntee, founder of Patriot Pickle, and Adam Ricci, the company’s chief executive officer, said. “On top of what this means for our Company and customers, we’re eager to work with the Garland community as we invest in and grow the local economy. Our ability to open this facility is a testament to the strength of our Company’s product, the support we’ve received from our loyal customers, and the partnership we’ve built with H.I.G.”

“Patriot Pickle has been a tremendous partner and we’re proud to have worked closely with them on this opportunity,” Justin Reyna, managing director at H.I.G. Capital, said. “The Company has experienced significant growth since it was founded two decades ago and it is now poised for major expansion with the opening of this new, state-of-the-art facility.”
