Strategy+Style Marketing Group forms digital media alliance with Oxford Communications

Strategy+Style Marketing Group, a Montville-based consulting and marketing services firm, has formed a digital media strategic alliance with Oxford Communications of Lambertville, according to a Wednesday announcement from Karen Fluharty, founding partner and chief strategist.

The firms are now aligned to bring innovation and bandwidth to Strategy+Style Marketing Group clients for digital media, analytics and enhanced reporting and testing of new concepts and technologies to grow their connection with their target audiences and ROI.

“I’m so excited to work with Oxford Communications again, whose innovation I’ve long admired,” Fluharty, a multiple award-winning industry leader with more than three decades of real estate marketing experience said. “This will be a powerhouse combination, offering our clients new, high-tech tools and old-fashioned marketing acumen.”

Strategy+Style Marketing Group’s services include branding; marketing strategy, website development, content creation, design, social media, loyalty programs and more; creation of custom technology to deliver brand content; destination marketing and placemaking; branding; and research and market analytics. Clients include Pacific Retail Capital Partners, Spectrum Capital and THRIVE Red Bank.

Previously, Fluharty and Oxford Communications collaborated at Prime Outlets, where Fluharty was a senior vice president of marketing. Together, they successfully rebranded and introduced innovative marketing strategies at the owner, manager, operator, and developer of high-quality 22 outlet centers in the U.S., reinvigorating the business to the point that Simon Property Group acquired Prime for $2.35 billion in 2010.

“I’ve long admired Strategy+Style Marketing Group’s creativity, innovation and results-oriented approach to real estate and retail brand building. This will be an exciting time as we work together, learn from each other, and provide digital services to clients around the United States,” John Martorana, president and chief executive officer of Oxford Communications, who has led, managed and operated Oxford for 38 years, said.

During that time, he has been integral to developing strategies and campaigns for clients in a variety of verticals, including higher education, retail, CPG, food, destination, real estate, pharmaceutical, healthcare, government and not-for-profit sectors, as well as business to business. He also spearheaded the development of Oxford’s proprietary reporting platform Illumina, which enables clients to track and optimize their digital media dollars. Clients have included the Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey, Trojan Brand Condoms, Viactiv and ETS TOEFL.

“This is a true meeting of minds, skills, and corporate philosophies,” Fluharty said. “Both Strategy+Style Marketing Group and Oxford Communications are dedicated to using new and advanced digital media tactics to help companies grow. Together, we’re looking forward to achieving that for clients present and future.”
