Michelle Timoni joins MAD Global Strategy as director

MAD Global Strategy, a leading bipartisan public affairs firm, announced that Michelle Timoni recently joined the firm as director. Timoni will be focused on government affairs and public affairs for clients, including the labor and health care sectors. She will be part of MAD Global’s Trenton lobbying operation.

“We are so excited to welcome Michelle Timoni to the MAD Global team,” said Mike DuHaime, founder and CEO, MAD Global. “From her experience on the campaign trail to the State House, Michelle understands the messages and tactics our clients need to communicate to break through. Her strategic advice will serve our clients well as they navigate the rapidly changing political and media landscape.”

Before joining MAD Global, Timoni served as a senior account director for MikeWorldWide (MWW), where she coordinated and executed government affairs, public relations and public affairs strategies for clients. She also worked in New Jersey politics for several years, serving as chief of staff to Assemblyman Roy Freiman and press secretary in the Assembly Majority Office under Speaker Craig Coughlin.

“Michelle is an incredible addition to our team. She has an incredibly deep understanding of how policy, politics and press work together in New Jersey,” added Laura Matos, partner, MAD Global. “Clients can feel assured that if Michelle is on the team, you are getting the job done and getting it done well. I am thrilled to welcome Michelle to our team and work with her to deliver meaningful results for our clients.”

In addition, Timoni worked for the Middlesex County Democratic Organization, helping to run campaign operations on the local, county and state levels. She is a proud graduate of Rutgers University.

“Michelle is a trusted advisor to many legislators and key stakeholders in New Jersey,” said Justin Braz, managing director, MAD Global. “Her understanding of the political landscape, shaped by her experience in both the legislature and on campaigns, will be a tremendous asset to MAD Global and our clients.”
