Mexican restaurant Red Agave opens in Monroe

Jersey Shore Restaurant Group (JSRG) announced the opening of its latest venture, Red Agave. It offers the vibrant spirit of Mexico and is brought to life daily through chef-driven cuisine, handcrafted cocktails and a fiesta-like atmosphere.

Red Agave restaurant and tequila bar is conveniently located at 211 Applegarth Road in Monroe and is now open seven days a week for lunch, starting at 11:30 a.m.

At the core of the kitchen is the house-made tortillas, crafted fresh each day to serve as the foundation for its tacos. The restaurant offers a diverse selection, including crispy Baja-style fish, carne asada and slow-simmered birria tacos, as well as vegetarian offerings bursting with bold flavors.

Red Agave also offers over 50 tequilas and mezcals, featuring everything from small-batch bottles to rare finds. Enjoy hand-crafted cocktails, a variety of beers and an international wine menu.

From sizzling street tacos to fire-roasted elotes to the signature tableside guacamole, every dish is prepared with fresh, authentic ingredients with the perfect touch of heat.

Red Agave is not just a place to enjoy fresh Mexican food; it is a true haven for tequila enthusiasts. There is an extensive and thoughtfully curated selection of tequila, ranging from smooth and subtle to bold and smoky.
