Coury Hospitality, a hospitality management company known for transforming hotels into community hubs, announced Aug. 12 the grand opening of its newest boutique property, The Seahaus Hotel.
This marks the debut of the first Marriott Tribute Portfolio lifestyle hotel in Atlantic City. It is located on the Atlantic City Boardwalk and is a non-gaming hotel that offers immersive culinary experiences and oceanfront tranquility.
The Marriott Tribute Portfolio is a group of independent hotels that emphasize their individuality that the website says “with a personality all their own.” Tribute Portfolio has nearly 50 hotels open around the world, from boutique resorts like Inn at Rancho Santa Fe in California to urban hotels such as The Vagabond Club in Singapore.
Coury Hospitality said The Seahaus Hotel was inspired by the New Jersey shoreline and offers 105 guest rooms, including 53 single rooms, 40 double rooms, and 12 suites.
Guests get beach access, an on-site fitness center, weekend entertainment, plus wellness, golf, and boating offerings.
The oceanfront hotel also opens with the addition of Cucina Del Mar, which is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and serves Italian coastal dishes. The restaurant is under the direction of Executive Chef Nick Faucher, a Philadelphia-area native who has led the kitchens of several Atlantic City restaurants.
“We’re excited to introduce The Seahaus Hotel and its restaurant Cucina Del Mar, part of the Tribute hotel legacy, to the Atlantic City Boardwalk,” shared Paul Joseph, general manager of The Seahaus Hotel. “The Seahaus Hotel offers an atmosphere of seaside serenity and culinary excellence, and was designed for guests to embrace and enjoy the area’s charming coastal setting – it’s an ideal destination for those seeking a more restorative and relaxing alternative to the city’s vibrant gaming and entertainment scene.”
Founded in 1999, Coury Hospitality is a lifestyle hospitality management company headquartered in Dallas. Its portfolio includes premier properties within Marriott’s Autograph Collection and Tribute Portfolio, as well as Hilton’s Curio Collection.
