Emerald Bay Risk Solutions appoints Moore to CFO and Anyieth to COO

Emerald Bay Risk Solutions in Morristown announced the appointments of Matthew Moore as chief financial officer and Sarah Anyieth as chief operating officer, effective immediately.

Moore brings more than 15 years of insurance leadership experience to Emerald Bay. He joins from Core Specialty, where he served as CFO of Insurance Operations. Previously, Moore was a CFO at Progressive Fleet & Specialty Programs, a specialty subsidiary of Progressive Insurance.

Earlier in his career, he served as vice president of Finance at Protective Insurance, which was later acquired by Progressive. Additionally, he is a certified public accountant and holds degrees from Purdue University and Ball State University.

“Emerald Bay is uniquely positioned to capture opportunities amid the structural shifts impacting the insurance market,” said Moore. “I look forward to partnering with Tracey, Sarah and the rest of the team to advance our financial strategy, support sustainable, long-term growth and reinforce Emerald Bay’s trusted role in the specialty and program insurance sectors.”

Anyieth joins Emerald Bay from Riveron, where she served as managing director in the business transformation practice, advising finance organizations on digital solutions to optimize end-to-end processes and enhance operational efficiency.

She brings more than 15 years of experience spanning operations, accounting and advisory, including senior leadership roles at EY and PwC, where she worked extensively with insurance and financial services clients on complex digital transformation, audit and transaction initiatives. She is a certified public accountant and a graduate of Southern Arkansas University.

“Emerald Bay has built a strong foundation rooted in data-driven collaboration,” said Anyieth. “I am excited to work alongside Tracey, Matt and the team to expand our operational capabilities, optimize our technology and strengthen our ability to deliver next-generation solutions that create long-term value for our partners.”

Tracey Sharis, chief executive officer, is happy with the appointments of Moore and Anyieth.

“We are thrilled to welcome Matt and Sarah to our leadership team,” she said. “Their combined experience and leadership in finance, insurance and operations will be invaluable as we continue scaling Emerald Bay. They will serve as high-impact partners as we work with high-quality MGAs and reinsurers to blend innovative underwriting solutions with strategic capital use.”
