Somerset Hills YMCA, a branch of Greater Somerset County YMCA, hosted its 9th Annual Rotary Family Fun Fest & Car Show on Aug. 24, in partnership with the Rotary Club of Somerset Hills.
The event featured an impressive showcase of vintage, custom and contemporary vehicles, drawing a crowd of more than 1,432 people. Over 137 cars were on display, with awards presented in 20 categories including Best in Show, Mayor’s Cup and People’s Choice. The band “PB&J” provided live entertainment and guests enjoyed a variety of delicious food options throughout the day.
The event provided fun for the entire family. Children enjoyed their own version of the car show, spun the prize wheel and participated in arts and crafts activities. Guests who were not already Y members received a complimentary one-week guest pass — valid for one year — to experience all that the Y has to offer.
Somerset Hills YMCA and the Rotary Club of Somerset Hills share a long-standing partnership rooted in community service. Proceeds from this year’s event will support local Rotary charities.
“We’re thrilled to continue our partnership with the Rotary Club of the Somerset Hills,” said Washima Redding, district vice president of operations. “Our shared commitment to strengthening community aligns perfectly as we work together to create lasting impact.”
