Immersive Messi Experience will open at American Dream in Spring 2026

RYVE | AONE, the international sports and entertainment company behind global fan experiences, said March 10 that The Messi Experience, an immersive multimedia exhibition celebrating the life and career of soccer icon Lionel Messi, will open at American Dream in New Jersey this spring.

This innovative experience will feature nine immersive installations, inviting fans to test their skills through interactive challenges while exploring the extraordinary journey of one of the greatest footballers in history. The Messi Experience combines storytelling, technology and sport, bringing fans closer than ever to the legend.

“I am very happy to see this project come to life and bring fans even closer to me, both on and off the field. I have always sought to inspire people through my passion for football, and this experience allows fans to relive the most unforgettable moments of my journey,” said Messi.

The Messi Experience also serves as a tie-in to FIFA World Cup tournament matches to be played at Metlife Stadium in June and July. The World Cup is the most-watched sports event in the world.

“We are ecstatic that The Messi Experience, honoring the world’s greatest footballer, has chosen American Dream as the destination to celebrate and share his legacy,” said Adam Petrick, chief marketing officer of American Dream. “This partnership further showcases our growing influence in the global soccer universe and the powerful platform we provide the game’s biggest stars. This is only the beginning, as we plan to bring more unique events and activations to the property as we build momentum toward the World Cup.”

Messi is an Argentinian soccer player who has played for FC Barcelona, Paris Saint-Germain, and now the MLS club Inter Miami CF as well as the Argentina national team. At FC Barcelona, he became one of the greatest players in soccer history, helping FC Barcelona win more than two dozen league titles and tournaments. In 2012, he set a record for most goals in a calendar year. Ten years later, he helped the Argentina national team win its third FIFA World Cup.

Blake Shanaphy, Raymond Trevisan and William O’Keefe of Cushman & Wakefield represented RYVE | AONE, in the lease negotiations for The Messi Experience New York–New Jersey project.

“Bringing The Messi Experience to American Dream marks an exciting milestone for the brand’s global expansion,” said Shanaphy.

Throughout the exhibition, visitors will encounter holographic visuals, cinematic sound, and immersive emotional storytelling. Fans will step into a recreation of Messi’s childhood bedroom, explore a replica of his locker room, and participate in interactive training sessions with ball-control and shooting challenges.

Guests will also have the opportunity to interact with AI-powered versions of Messi and capture an interactive selfie with the legendary player.
