Sanzari picks outside management firm for Glenpointe

For the first time in the developer’s 73-year history, Alfred Sanzari Enterprises will utilize an outside management firm, it announced this week.

The Hackensack-based firm said in a news release that real estate services firm JLL has been chosen to provide property management and agency leasing for the mixed-use Glenpointe complex in Teaneck.

“This strategic partnership represents an impressive new chapter for Glenpointe,” Ryan Sanzari, Alfred Sanzari Enterprises’ chief operating officer, said in a prepared statement. “Joining forces with JLL bolsters the all-encompassing ‘work-life’ environment at Glenpointe, which is sought-after among today’s office users. Our new collaboration will benefit tenants, their employees and clients, as well as the area’s residents and visitors.”

The 50-acre Glenpointe property includes 650,000 square feet of Class A office space and amenities including a bank and restaurant; a 350-room, full-service Marriott hotel; and the 26,000-square-foot Glenpointe Spa & Fitness Center. Another 350-room hotel, dual-branded by Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton and Homewood Suites by Hilton, is under construction for a planned summer opening.

“We are honored to have been selected to represent the strategic direction of this pinnacle asset on behalf of Sanzari,” Terry Harris, COO of JLL’s suburban tri-state market, said in a statement. “JLL’s world-class management practices and sharp focus on an elevated tenant experience align perfectly with Sanzari’s commitment to the same. JLL’s integrated leasing and management groups are excited to work in concert with Sanzari to deliver on its objectives.”

JLL’s Mary Oppel, regional operations manager, will be in charge of property management. Thomas Reilly, managing director, Susan Mason, executive vice president, and Colleen Maguire, associate vice president, will be in charge of leasing.

“Glenpoint is a landmark property in the tri-state region,” Sanzari said. “JLL’s depth of resources and diversified team, in combination with our in-house property management department, will benefit the entire complex, now and in the future.”
