Princeton-based AST, a provider of patent risk mitigation solutions, announced Tuesday it has acquired an email messaging patent portfolio from Advenix Corp.
Quinn Pacific, a patent brokerage, represented Advenix in the deal.
The new portfolio that AST purchased, it said, is now available for licensing to its full membership, which includes global technology companies such as Ford, Microsoft, Sony, Spotify, Uber and Verizon.
