Rutgers University extends partnership with Paciolan

Rutgers University has extended its partnership with Paciolan, an Irving, California-based provider of ticketing, fundraising, marketing and analytics solutions for college athletes.

“Paciolan has been a wonderful partner for Rutgers Athletics for quite a while.  We are thrilled to announce the extension of this long term partnership and be at the forefront of working with them to develop the next analytics solution that will shape our industry,” said Rick Thorpe, senior associate AD for external affairs and strategic communications at Rutgers University. “As the modern-day fan evolves, it’s critical that we advance systems and strategies to maximize our ticketing efforts. Paciolan is embracing this evolution and their commitment to innovation will allow us to find and service the next wave of Rutgers supporters.”

Paciolan said on Thursday Rutgers will continue to use its ticketing, customer relationship management and marketing automation solutions while also working on a new analytics solution. The university also plans to integrate Paciolan’s new fundraising system, PAC Fund.

“Paciolan’s new advanced analytics solution will provide the foundation for our business intelligence platform,” said Ryan Gottlieb, associate athletic director, sales strategy and business intelligence at Rutgers University. “This system will ensure that we market and sell our programs smarter by getting the right offer in front of the right consumer at an optimal time, through the most advantageous channel.”

Rutgers utilizes Paciolan’s ticketing system to sell and deliver tickets in real-time at all university events. Customers can purchase and transfer mobile tickets and enter venues using only their mobile device. They can also pick their own seats.

“We are thrilled to continue our partnership with the innovative team at Rutgers University,” said Kim Damron, CEO and president at Paciolan. “Together we will continue to evolve fan engagement experiences for Rutgers’ fans and maximize data analysis and ticket sales.”
