Gina Partite, Marketsmith Inc.
Marketsmith Inc., the only woman-owned-and-operated advertising and “martech” agency of its kind, has promoted New Egypt resident Gina Partite to client performance supervisor. She previously served as a senior account executive.

Thomas J. Shara honored by Ramapo College Foundation
Thomas J. Shara, CEO and president, Lakeland Bankcorp Inc. and Lakeland Bank, Oak Ridge, received the Havemeyer Presidential Leadership Award at Ramapo College Foundation’s 31st Annual Golf Outing at the North Jersey Country Club in Wayne.
More than 120 golfers participated in the event, which raised in excess of $136,000 that will provide scholarship support for qualified students, fund collaborative research initiatives between students and faculty, and support special programs and projects on campus.
The Havemeyer Presidential Leadership Award is given to an individual who has offered his or her expertise and whose contributions have touched the lives of the community as well as the students, faculty and staff at Ramapo College.
Walters Homes
Walters Homes, a Barnegat-based custom design/build firm, has hired three new employees in its custom architectural services division, Walters Architecture LLC. They are Edward Fitzpatrick, project manager; Xiaonan Chen, junior architect; and Can Wang, junior architect.
“Expanding our architectural team will allow us to keep up with the increased demand for design services, as clients are opting for a more customized approach when building a new home,” said Arnold Boyle, head of Walters Architecture. “Whether it’s cutting-edge or traditional beach house design, we can integrate the features that clients are requesting to enhance their lifestyle and meet their specific needs.”

Peter Lederman, Middlesex County Bar Association
Davison, Eastman, Muñoz, Lederman & Paone, a full-service law firm providing coordinated legal services, recently announced the appointment of firm equity shareholder Peter H. Lederman to serve as co-chair for the Middlesex County Bar Association’s Ad Hoc Committee on Municipal Court Reform. The appointment was made by MCBA President Joanne Vos at the association’s board meeting on Aug. 13. Other committee members include Eugene Wishnic, co-chair, John Hogan, George Shamy Jr. and Kimberly Yonta.
The committee was created in response to the recent reports on Municipal Court Reform by the New Jersey State Bar Association and the Supreme Court of New Jersey. The committee is charged with reviewing those reports and recommendations and recommending a course of action for the MCBA Board in the Municipal Court reform effort.

Jim Sharp, Wilson Elser
Wilson Elser announced that veteran trial lawyer James Sharp has joined as counsel in its Florham Park office.
His practice focus is professional liability and insurance defense with a particular emphasis on health care. He most frequently represents hospitals and health care facilities, physicians, nurses and other health care professionals. Sharp has extensive experience representing corporate and individual clients in sophisticated litigation, including contract breach and product liability matters.

Tim Sheehan, Goldberg Segalla
Goldberg Segalla added associate Tim Sheehan to the firm’s Global Insurance Services Practice Group in Newark. Sheehan was previously with Clyde & Co US LLP in Florham Park.
Sheehan is an experienced litigator whose practice focuses on insurance coverage litigation. He has represented insurers in numerous insurance coverage disputes involving environmental coverage claims and claims for coverage under commercial general liability, excess and errors and omissions policies, as well as first-party claims under personal and commercial policies. He has represented insurers in the New Jersey Supreme Court and the Superior Court of New Jersey, Appellate Division in appeals involving the scope of an insurer’s duty to defend and the interpretation of indemnity contracts, and has also defended professionals against professional liability claims in New Jersey state and federal courts.

Michael Tamasco, Seix Investment Advisors
Seix Investment Advisors, an affiliate of Virtus Investment Partners, Inc., with $23.9 billion of fixed income assets under management as of June 30, announced that Michael Tamasco has joined the company as managing director, institutional sales.
Tamasco has more than 25 years of experience developing new business globally, managing investment strategies and trading fixed income securities. In his new role, he will offer Seix’s comprehensive array of fixed income strategies, including its expertise in managing broad market, short duration, taxable and tax-exempt investment grade portfolios along with high yield bonds, leveraged loans, CLO structures and multi-sector credit solutions.
