Cori Wilf, a noted businesswoman and philanthropist, has been elected to the board of trustees at Saint Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, the organization announced Thursday.
Bruce Schonbraun, the chair of the board, said it is looking forward to her participation at a time when health care has never been as pressing and important in the world.
“Cori is joining at a historic time as we navigate the pandemic while continuing to deliver world-class care to the community,” he said. “She is a passionate health care advocate and brings great insights to our board. We are looking forward to her active involvement.”
A graduate of George Washington University, Wilf worked at BWR Public Relations for notable celebrity publicist Leslie Sloane at the onset of her career. She then pursued philanthropic endeavors, working in major gift fundraising for UJA-Federation of New York.
Wilf’s volunteer efforts have been affiliated with Sunrise Association, which provides free summer camp experiences for children with cancer and their siblings, and its in-hospital program, Sunrise on Wheels. She raised significant funds for this organization as the gala co-chair for five years. Additionally, Wilf volunteered for both Mount Sinai Hospital and NYU Langone in their Hematology and Oncology departments.
Saint Barnabas CEO Stephen Zieniewicz welcomed Wilf.

Wilf is a participating family member in the Wilf Family Foundations as well as a member of the Women’s Association at Congregation B’nai Jeshurun. She resides in Short Hills with her husband, Jason Wilf, and their three children.
