Executive Moves: Partner, NAI DiLeo-Bram and more

Robert W. Barone, Partner Engineering and Science Inc.

Eatontown-based Partner Engineering and Science Inc. is pleased to welcome industry veteran Robert W. Barone as director out of Partner’s White Plains, New York, office.

A highly respected figure, Barone was a key pioneer in the establishment of sound due diligence and construction risk management practices for commercial real estate. Barone’s deep expertise will substantially contribute to Partner’s successful Construction Services practice serving institutional investors, lenders and other stakeholders nationwide.

On Barone choosing Partner as the next step in his career, Partner President Frank S. Romeo Jr. said: “Bob is one of the most prominent figures in our industry, well respected by peers and clients alike. He will be a tremendous tailwind to our successful Construction Services practice and a true asset to our company as a whole.”

Marissa Giampaolo, NAI DiLeo-Bram & Co.

NAI DiLeo-Bram & Co., a leading full-service commercial brokerage firm, recently announced that Marissa Giampaolo joined the firm as marketing coordinator to assist its growing team of professionals.

She comes to the firm with a background in social media and digital marketing, and will assist the company with its social media initiatives, corporate and sales marketing and company branding. She will also support the brokerage professionals in the design, production and implementation of marketing materials and campaigns.

Simon, chief operating officer. “Her knowledge of social media outlets as well as her digital design and marketing experience, will enable our professionals to generate enhanced property exposure on behalf of our clients.”

Richard Abrahams, MICT Inc.

MICT Inc. is pleased to announce the appointment of Richard Abrahams as CEO of the stock trading and wealth management business.

With more than 35 years’ experience in the financial services industry, holding senior roles in China, the U.S. and Europe, Abrahams is a highly experienced and accomplished executive and business leader.

Wartyna L. Davis, William Paterson University

Wartyna L. Davis has been appointed dean of the of the College of Humanities and Social Sciences at William Paterson University in Wayne.

Davis served as associate dean of the college from 2011 to 2019, when she was named interim dean. She joined the William Paterson community in 1998 as assistant professor of political science, and rose to earn the rank of full professor. During her tenure, she served for seven years as chair of the political science department.

Greg Fraser, HR Acuity

HR Acuity, the only technology platform specifically built for employee relations and investigations management, announced the hire of Greg Fraser as chief product officer, adding to its senior leadership team. Fraser will lead the company’s product and platform strategy, its strategic focus on data and analytics and the development of new solutions, helping HR Acuity’s clients reduce risk and build better, safer workplaces.

Fraser joins HR Acuity from Rocketrip, an enterprise Software-as-a-Service travel platform backed by Google Ventures, among others, where he served for two years as chief product officer, improving client ROI 80% and net retention to over 100%. Prior to that, he was senior vice president, product, at Investopedia, an IAC company, where he helped triple revenue for the world’s largest financial and investment education platform.

Wendy McGuire, Boys & Girls Club of Paterson and Passaic

Wendy McGuire, the CEO of the Boys & Girls Club of Paterson and Passaic, was recently elected to represent the organization with a seat on the President’s Advisory Council of Boys & Girls Club of America. McGuire, CEO of the club for two years, was selected to be part of this select leadership circle from thousands of Boys & Girls Club leaders across the nation.

Jim Clark, Boys & Girls Club of America CEO and president, said: “The President’s Advisory Council is a small, diverse group of club leaders who provide guidance to me and my senior team on our direction as a movement and impacts how BGCA supports Clubs. Members of the President’s Advisory Council also become part of the Great Futures Planning Committee, which guides the direction and implementation of our strategic direction.”

Elena Ortiz, Spring Hills

Spring Hills, including post-acute care, assisted living and memory care communities and home care services, announced the promotion of Elena Ortiz to chief operating officer.

With the company since its founding in 2001, Ortiz will be critical to Spring Hills’ continued growth as it advances plans to build clinical programs integrated into their residential communities. She had served as senior vice president of operations.

Fredrick Smith, Corcentric

Corcentric, a leading provider of business spend management and revenue management software and services, announced the appointment of Fredrick “Fritz” Smith as chief revenue officer. In the newly established role,  Smith will serve as the strategic leader for the company’s global sales strategy.

Reporting directly to Matt Clark, president and chief operating officer, Smith will drive sales performance through the development of a skilled and united team worldwide. He is a recognized sales leader with over 25 years of experience in the technology industry with a track record of leading and motivating high performing sales teams and driving consistent revenue growth.

Josh Zweben, NYNJA

NYNJA, the security-first, all-in-one communications platform for mission-critical telecommunications needs, announced that Josh Zweben has been named director of sales. In this newly created role, Zweben will oversee sales strategy for the organization, lead and train the sales team, and collaborate with NYNJA’s marketing team to ensure seamless communications across the company. Zweben will report directly to the co-founder and CEO of NYNJA, J.R. Guerrieri.

Zweben brings more than 15 years’ experience to NYNJA. Before joining the communications platform, he served as sales director for the independent software vendor CloudSense. Before that, he worked with T-Mobile’s enterprise team to oversee strategic relationship management, focusing on customer expansion and business development. Additionally, he held various positions at Konica Minolta Business Solutions U.S. and Viacom.
