Onyx Equities is working to bring workers back to its suburban office locations. It’s also helping bring residents out for family entertainment.
Earlier this week, Onyx Equities’ senior vice president for property management and construction, Kristen Pappas, presented Parsippany Mayor Michael Soriano with a check for $75,000 to support community events throughout 2021, starting with this weekend’s Fourth of July Concert and Fireworks celebration.
The donation is part of Onyx’s extensive corporate engagement program that also includes its annual Fall Fest, which provides games and entertainment for its tenants and their families through local vendors.
“We’re thrilled to support Parsippany’s July Fourth celebration and other community activities,” Pappas said. “We don’t want our interactions with the people who live and work here to be limited to just 9 to 5, and this gave us a great opportunity to be part of something meaningful.”
Onyx Equities has been a part of the Parsippany professional community since the early 2000s, providing Class A office space at Four, Six and Eight Campus Drive; One, Three, Five and Seven Sylvan Way; and Two Hilton Court. Its New Jersey portfolio also encompasses Gateway One, Two and Four in Newark, and substantial holdings in Bergen and Morris counties.
Soriano said the township was happy to have the support.
“I can’t thank Onyx enough for this partnership to bring the community together to celebrate,” he said. “It’s going to be a great experience, and I know we’re all ready for a much-needed night of fun.”
