Engineering firm secures office lease on Rowan Blvd. in Glassboro

Vantage Commercial on Thursday said it helped secure a 2,350-square-foot office lease in downtown Glassboro.

Located at 209 Rowan Blvd., the space was formerly the headquarters of HFM Investment Advisors, which, in August 2021, approached Vantage to secure a new tenant in anticipation of its move. Monica Walsh, director of client services at Vantage, worked quickly to identify, tour and craft a deal for the space’s new tenant, Ransom Consulting, a 30-year leader in the environmental and engineering industry.

The property is ideally located among retail and office users on the downtown strip of Rowan Boulevard right next to a new mixed-use complex developed, built and managed by Nexus Properties, an innovator in real estate development and property management since 1979. Rowan Boulevard offers the best in retail locations, with the combination of being in the heart of Glassboro, near the surrounding residential community and being adjacent to Rowan University.

Walsh handled all sides of the deal in this transaction, stating, “Vantage Commercial is honored to be a trusted professional in the continued growth of the campus and looks forward to working on future projects with Nexus Properties by securing successful tenants for the evolving growth of the community.”

Founded in 1988, Ransom Consulting has built a reputation as a trusted engineer and environmental firm through collaborating with commercial, government and industrial partners, which helped it grow into one of the leading firms in its industry as a progressive employer placing personal health and wellness as their top priority. Ransom has completed more than 6,000 projects across the U.S. with broad-ranging clients including federal, state and municipal governments, real estate and commercial developers, utility and power companies, and industrial companies.

“Rowan Boulevard is an ideal location for Ransom’s new office. Centrally located in a highly visible office and retail complex in Glassboro, they will continue to benefit from their new location for years to come as development in the Gloucester County area grows and thrives,” Walsh said.
