Realogy, with $737 million in sales in 2021, maintains spot as top real estate group in country

Madison-based Realogy Holdings showed it continues to be the largest full-service residential real estate services company in the country by gaining the top spot in real estate enterprise by sales volume, transaction sides, and agent count for 2021, according to the T3 Sixty Enterprise Report.

The report is part of the annual Real Estate Almanac publication and ranks real estate’s top enterprise and franchise brands that shape the residential real estate industry.

Realogy, which has nearly 200,000 affiliated agents, had nearly 1.5 million sales valued at $737.58 million in 2021, an increase of 29% from 2020, when it had just under $582 million.

The company easily outpaced Austin, Texas-based Keller Williams, which had $500 million in sales.

In addition to the enterprise category, all six of Realogy’s leading residential real estate brands – including Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate, CENTURY 21, Coldwell Banker, Corcoran, ERA and Sotheby’s International Realty – were ranked among the report’s various top franchise brands lists.

Corcoran also was named the fastest growing franchise brand based on year-over-year sales volume, with an impressive $36 billion in 2021 sales, up 98 percent from 2020.

Realogy CEO Ryan Schneider said the rankings are a testament to the affiliated agents, brokers and franchise owners.

“Their critical role at the center of every transaction helps fuel Realogy as we continue to move the real estate industry to what’s next,” he said.

Morris Plains-based Weichert placed No. 11 with $45 million in sales.
