New Jersey Lottery Festival of Ballooning to offer NFT collectibles

Ready to unlock a one-of-a-kind opportunity for a unique festival experience in the metaverse? New Jersey Lottery Festival of Ballooning is about to reach a whole new level by being the first in the ballooning community to launch NFT collectibles.

NFTs are non-fungible tokens, a one-of-a-kind digital asset that embraces new technology to connect and discover.

Balloon Festival NFT collectibles will be available as Digital Art, Digital Art with Experience and Digital Art with Merchandise.

Collectors who register now, ahead of the sale, will receive a 30% discount on festival general admission tickets. The NFT collection will be available June 1 here.

Depending on the variation of the New Jersey Lottery Festival of Ballooning NFT you purchase, you will be able enjoy a variety of perks offered by each NFT, such as collectible art, a T-shirt matching the NFT, festival admission and a ride in a hot air balloon.

“We are always looking for new ways to enhance the festival experience, and digital collectibles will provide a whole new level of enjoyment and connection within the balloon festival community,” Festival Executive Producer Howard Freeman said in a statement.

New Jersey Lottery Festival of Ballooning NFTs will come in a limited edition run of collectibles representing novel aspects of the largest summertime hot air balloon and music festival in North America that can be bought and sold, taking festival collecting and trading to new heights. The festival is also exploring virtual reality experiences in the future. Owning this NFT will provide unlimited access to the virtual reality experience where you can enter the 3D metaverse experience of hot air balloon rides and interact with other people who love the adventure of hot air balloons. You will also be able to unlock exclusive community events to be held in the metaverse.

A portion of the future NFT collections will be airdropped for free to the early buyers of this NFT collection.

Collectors will be able to buy or resell their limited edition NFTs on OpenSea or any other NFT marketplace that supports the polygon blockchain.

The three-day New Jersey Lottery Festival of Ballooning features the awe-inspiring spectacle of up to 100 sport and special shaped hot air balloons taking flight twice each day over the scenic Hunterdon County countryside July 29-30-31 at Solberg Airport in Readington.
