The accounting firm Prager Metis CPAs LLC has added a new partner to oversee one of its groups, the firm announced recently.
Joseph D. Zarkowski will work out of the New York-based firm’s Basking Ridge office as partner-in-charge of the Advisory Group and Public Company Audit Practice, according to a news release.
“Bringing Joe on board is essential for our plans to expand our resources and further strengthen our reputation and expertise as the ‘go-to’ expert in both Advisory and Public Company Audit services,” Glenn Friedman, the firm’s co-managing partner, said in a prepared statement. “With his extensive background, he is a perfect choice for us to lead the two critical areas.”
In his new role, Zarkowski is responsible for developing, managing and delivering service lines for the Advisory Group that include outsourced internal audits, internal control risk assessments, integrity monitoring and more.
“I’m very excited to join Prager Metis, as we share a commitment to provide every client with both sound advice and outstanding personal service,” he said in a statement.
