Citizen Linden luxury rental community celebrates ribbon-cutting

Transit-oriented community next to Linden train station now leasing

Linden Mayor Derek Armstead recently joined representatives of Accurate Builders & Developers, fellow municipal officials and other dignitaries for the grand opening of Citizen Linden, a new luxury rental community located just steps from the train station.

Located at 307 W. Elizabeth Ave., the collection of 234 modern rental residences is complemented by a curated offering of lifestyle amenities, 4,500 square feet of onsite retail and an enclosed 292-space parking garage. The community places residents just a short walk from Wood Avenue, downtown Linden’s main artery of shops, restaurants and markets, and about a 40-minute train ride to New York Penn Station.

Armstead assisted in cutting the ceremonial ribbon at the community, officially launching its leasing program.

“In Linden, we are certainly no strangers to development, but I can say that Citizen Linden is one of the nicest of the new developments we have in town,” Armstead said. “Creating a project of this caliber requires a sense of collaboration, allowing everyone to come together for the common good. We have lowered taxes five years in a row, and the opening of this development will certainly assist in stabilizing taxes on a long-term basis. We are glad that the development team chose to work in Linden, and we look forward to seeing the building fill up quickly.”

Rents for the studio, one- and two-bedroom residences start at $1,800, with initial occupancy scheduled for Jan. 15. Grand opening incentives are available for a limited time, according to the Marketing Directors, which was tapped by Accurate Builders & Developers as the community’s exclusive marketing and leasing agent.

“Accurate Builders & Developers is committed to transforming neighborhoods and enhancing the lives of its residents, and that is evident in the elegant design, distinctive architecture and attention to detail found at Citizen Linden,” said Jack Klugmann, CEO and president of Accurate Builders & Developers. “We are delighted to open the doors at Citizen Linden.”

Citizen Linden was designed by award-winning Thomas J. Brennan Architects, whose founder grew up in town and graduated from Linden High School.

Citizen Linden’s collection of residences features plush living spaces crafted with today’s sophisticated renter in mind. A full complement of amenities are available to residents.

“Citizen Linden meets the increased demand in today’s market for luxury rental residences in a thriving downtown location with convenient mass-transit access,” said Jacqueline Urgo, president of the Marketing Directors. “It’s a striking, thoughtfully-designed community that we expect to have widespread appeal.”
