Personal injury and medical malpractice law firm changes name to reflect newest named partner

Britcher Leone has changed its name to Britcher, Leone & Sergio in recognition of Tyrone Sergio, who has become a named partner, according to an announcement from the firm, which has offices in Glen Rock and Morristown.

Sergio heads up the personal injury and medical malpractice law firm’s Morristown office.

“Ty is a trusted partner and wholly committed to the continued growth and success of our firm. He has built a noteworthy practice handling personal injury and medical malpractice cases and has earned an impeccable reputation as an excellent trial lawyer, as well as for his extensive knowledge of New Jersey law,” noted E. Drew Britcher, co-founder, who leads the Trial practice at Britcher, Leone & Sergio.

“A talented advocate dedicated to his clients and their cases, Ty shares our philosophy of helping our clients rebuild their lives after a serious injury or loss of a loved one due to medical negligence or an accident. Clients want to know what went wrong and if it could have been prevented, as well as how to deal with their resultant difficulties. Ty helps to find these answers for his clients,” explained Armand Leone Jr., co-founder, who leads the firm’s Medical Malpractice practice.

With more than 25 years’ experience in personal injury and medical malpractice law, Sergio handles a wide range of matters, including medical malpractice, wrongful death, products liability, construction accidents, nursing home malpractice, automobile accidents and premises liability cases.

He previously partnered with Stephen “Skippy” Weinstein until they both joined Britcher Leone in 2018.

Sergio is admitted to practice law in New Jersey and New York. He earned a J.D. from Brooklyn Law School and a B.A. in economics from Villanova University.
