Avison Young expands N.J. project management service line with four strategic new hires

Avison Young’s New Jersey office Project Management group has been strengthened with the addition of four new members.

Joining the firm’s Morristown office are Jay Singer, who will serve as senior project manager, Victoria Daledda, who joins as assistant project manager, and John Breece and William Duvall, who both join as superintendents.

“We’re thrilled to welcome Jay, Victoria, William and John to Avison Young, and for the extensive experience and knowledge they will add to our Project and Construction Management teams as we continue to win new business and strengthen this imperative service line,” said Jeffrey Heller, principal and managing director of Avison Young’s New Jersey office. “Under the leadership of Tracey Kasper, our New Jersey Project Management Group will continue to provide our clients with an elevated level of service and attention to detail throughout the project build-out cycle, helping bring their workspace visions to life.”

Singer brings over three decades of leadership, project management and development experience to his role as senior project manager, where his responsibilities will include overseeing all stages of project life cycles, facilitating in tenant, ownership and vendor communications and leading Avison Young project teams. Most recently, he served as vice president of construction at Republic Bank. Prior to that, Singer has also managed extensive renovation and development projects during his time at Cushman & Wakefield, CBRE, Marine Architects and TD Bank, including the large Unilever repositioning project in Englewood.

As assistant project manager, Daledda will streamline project management efficiency by providing support to project and construction managers, coordinating communications among managers, clients, vendors and architects, managing administrative documents for projects and preparing, distributing and tracking RFPs. Prior to joining Avison Young, Daledda was an assistant project manager at CMM Custom Homes, where she provided project management services for six active projects with an accumulated value of $15 million. She also possesses portfolio and property management experience from her previous roles at Hudson Homes Management Services and Transwestern.

With over 20 years of property maintenance and construction management experience, Duvall possesses a deep understanding of portfolio management, maintenance and construction coordination, building electrical and security systems and leadership. As superintendent, Duvall will supervise ground up projects and renovations, oversee construction site logistics and manage project timelines, safeness and budgets.

Breece joins Avison Young following nearly a decade at Winter Management, where he held various roles including building engineer, building manager, project manager and property manager. In his role as superintendent, Breece will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all the activities of a construction site, performing quality control and safety checks, manage a team of workers and subcontractors and tracking labor progress.
