The Zita Group: Longtime Trenton firm announces new name

Principal Trish Zita, now full equity partner, said name change reflects firm’s status as largest woman-owned lobbying group in N.J.

Same leader. Same team. Same focus. New name.

Trish Zita, long regarded as one of the top government and public affairs professionals in Trenton, will announce Monday morning that she is changing the name of the firm she leads to The Zita Group.

Zita, who co-founded the Kaufman Zita Group with Adam Kaufman in 2007, became the full equity partner of the firm in October 2021.

The Zita Group name change recognizes the fact that it is the only woman-owned firm among the largest lobbying groups in Trenton. Zita said it also aims to reflect the firm’s diversity and its innovative approach to servicing clients.

“Our new identity is rooted in our original look and all the expertise and support our clients have come to expect, while moving the firm forward into a new era,” she said.

About The Zita Group

The Zita Group, a diverse and woman-owned firm, ranks as one of the most recognized, respected and relied-upon lobbying and public affairs firms in New Jersey.

Its motto: When clients come to us, their matters become ours and two teams become one.

“At TZG, we understand today’s complex and disruptive world. In order to stay ahead, we must adapt and evolve.”

The firm also is introducing a new website, which highlights the firm’s team, service offerings and record of success. It will be found at thezitagroupnj.com.

The website features a short video announcing the firm’s new name and brand identity. (Watch it here.)

Zita, long a regular on numerous ROI Influencers lists, said the new name and logo reflect a brand that aims to be ahead of the pack.

“TZG is committed to remaining ahead of trends and innovations in the industries we represent,” she said. “We are excited to usher in a new chapter with our clients.”
